Tenants - what you need to know

Looking for a property to rent, then you are with the right experts at EwartPark.   We are an independent hands on professional team that know every aspect of our properties that we list.

At your initial call to us we will conduct a short series of questions which will cover all areas of your requirements to allow us to find your ideal rental home.

Our passion is property and finding you your perfect home is our job, we take great pride in the relationship we build with all of our tenants.

Whist we want you to have your idyllic home there are various steps we need to go through, in order to make the process simple and pain free.

What do you need to provide?

Our independent reference company will contact you for the following evidence:

  • An employment reference check
  • A credit check free of CCJ’s and defaults
  • Previous landlord reference
  • Three years of residential addresses
  • Photographic ID
  • Proof of Addresses

If all of this is easy for you, then you can secure your deposit and we can move forward in the process.

Once all of the above has been completed we will carry out a fully comprehensive inventory of the property and send this with your lease and all safety certificates via Signable which is all online, stress free and environmentally friendly.  The last and final step of the process is coming into our friendly and modern office and collecting your keys and informative tenant pack.

This full process takes around 4 days to complete and then we can have you in your new home as soon as we can.

We aim to meet all our applicants to find out their exact requirements. This allows us to match tenants to suitable premises and to meet their criteria. It is essential for you to know what items will remain in the property (specifications for which can be seen within this document under Landlords), and also to know what your responsibilities are. For example, who looks after the garden, parking arrangements, insurance cover etc. We will assist you through every step of this process and aim to provide a smooth and stress free transitional period for all our customers.

Tenant Information Form

We will require to keep the property safe and secure and as a tenant you are required to assist with all safety issues.  This means allowing access for safety certificates to be completed, advising us of any problems, ensuring that the batteries and alarms are in good working order.

Payments can be made directly to the bank by direct transfer or using PayPal. Please contact the office where the team will be delighted to assist.
